MYTILINEOS sells 211 MW of solar projects in Romania to HELLENiQ ENERGY

The binding agreement signed by the two companies includes the construction and transfer of four (4) solar parks in southern Romania. They are already at an advanced stage of development, with 13 MW scheduled to go into commercial operation in 2023. Aisni that 108 MW in 2024 and 90 MW in the third quarter of 2025.

HELLENiQ ENERGY enters the booming Romanian renewable energy market.

The commercial operation date (COD) will be respected for all parks. Total annual production from the projects is expected to exceed 300 GWh of green energy. Enough to meet the needs of 100,000 households. The projects are part of the international renewable energy portfolio developed by M Renewables, in MYTILINEOS’ energy sector.

This transaction is part of MYTILINEOS’ ongoing asset rotation program. Designed to accelerate value creation from the M Renewables platform as revenues are redeployed in the development of our extensive portfolio.

This agreement marks the HELLENiQ ENERGY Group’s entry into the fast-growing Romanian RES market. This is also the Group’s second entry into the international SER market in recent months. After its recent entry into the Cypriot RES market, which accelerated the growth of its portfolio and reinforced its extraversion.
