Romanian wind power is growing with the addition of an order to Vestas from DTEK Renewable International and Moldova Eolian for the Ruginoasa wind farm. This onshore wind farm is located in the northeast of Romania in the municipality of Ruginoasa. By 2023, it will have ten V162-6.2 MW wind turbines, in 60 MW operating mode, with an average height of 125 meters and an acoustic power of 104.8 dB.

The turbines are scheduled for delivery in the third quarter of 2023 and are expected to be commissioned in the fourth quarter of 2023.
