Resalta announced on July 21, 2025, that it had acquired Statkraft’s Croatian platform, Europe’s largest producer of renewable energy. This transaction, which includes a portfolio of renewable energy projects in Croatia, marks a significant step in Resalta’s growth strategy in the region. The acquisition also involves the full transfer of Statkraft’s local team in Croatia to Resalta, ensuring business continuity and strengthening the company’s development capabilities on the ground.

Strategic expansion in Croatia
The acquisition of Statkraft’s Croatian platform provides Resalta with direct access to a growing renewable energy market. Croatia, as a key market for the company, represents a strategic point for the expansion of its operations in the Balkans. The acquired portfolio aligns with Resalta’s sustainable development goals while further solidifying its competitive position in the region.

Commitment to smooth integration
The integration of the projects and Statkraft’s local team is currently underway.
