HYLENR has announced the closing of a Pre-Series A funding round totalling $3 mn, aimed at accelerating the market entry of its Low Energy Nuclear Reaction (LENR) solutions. This technology offers a low-carbon alternative for industrial and electrical uses, as the industry seeks durable and competitive energy solutions.

New momentum for the LENR sector

The fundraising round brings together Valour Capital and Chhattisgarh Investments Limited, investors specialising in breakthrough technologies and energy transition. Several private investors also participated. PricewaterhouseCoopers (PwC) advised HYLENR during the transaction, with Samvad Partners providing legal support. According to HYLENR, this fundraising marks a major step towards commercial production, boosting investor confidence in the potential of the LENR sector.

Karan Goshar, partner at Valour Capital, stated that the LENR technology developed by HYLENR paves the way for new standards in industrial heat and electricity, based on advanced scalability and safety profiles. This operation comes at a time of growing industrial sector interest for solutions capable of delivering high energy yields at large scale.

Focus on industrialisation and international expansion

HYLENR reports that its recent laboratory results show energy gains superior to conventional technologies. Several validation tests are underway with public institutions and major companies, some coming from the governmental sector. The first products range from 7.2 kW for domestic use to 1 MW for industrial applications, broadening the potential customer base.

The next stage targets a $25 mn fundraising from strategic investors and clean energy-focused funds, mainly in the United States and Europe. This new round will serve to expand R&D capacity, support industrial scaling, and accelerate the development of international partnerships.

Scientific expertise at the service of industry

HYLENR’s scientific team is led by Padma Shri Dr. Prahlada, known for his work on the Akash missile, and Dr. Varaprasad, Chief Scientific Officer. This high-level expertise allows HYLENR to deliver innovation in a sector where demand for efficient industrial heat solutions remains high.

With pilot projects already underway with public bodies and industrial players, HYLENR targets the markets of India, the United States, Europe, and Japan. According to Ram Ramaseshan, Managing Director and Co-Founder, this fundraising represents an important milestone to demonstrate the relevance of LENR technology in meeting global and industrial energy needs.
