RWE announces the inauguration of its new photovoltaic power plant in Bojanowo East, Poland.
With a capacity of 8.5 MWp, this plant is the first in a series of solar initiatives that RWE is implementing across the country.

Expansion of Solar Projects in Poland
RWE is currently deploying several solar projects in Poland, covering a variety of configurations ranging from ground-mounted installations of less than 1 MWp to large solar parks of over 10 MWp.
The projects are scattered across different regions of the country, exploiting favorable sunny conditions.
The Bojanowo East power plant, equipped with over 17,800 photovoltaic panels, is designed to supply green electricity to around 4,300 Polish households every year.

In parallel with its expansion projects, RWE is collaborating with the Adam Mickiewicz University in Poznań on a biomonitoring pilot project.

RWE is implementing pro-environmental measures at ten selected sites, to create habitats beneficial to local fauna, particularly insects.
