Borrego launches its Anza platform for solar project development companies.

Borrego is a consulting and maintenance company for large-scale photovoltaic and energy storage development companies. Its main market is in the United States.

90% of modules affected by Borrego

Its Anza web application will model the costs and benefits, as well as the performance of panels and other solar and storage components. All this data is transmitted in real time and in net value and then classified according to their quality. Depending on the program and the customer’s objectives, this will allow the equipment purchases to be adapted since Borrego accompanies its potential customers at each stage of the project.

Borrego estimates that nearly 90% of solar modules sold in the U.S. and storage providers pass through its platform to reach their customers.

Aaron Hall, president of Borrego, explains:

“Anza offers a completely different procurement experience than large-scale solar and storage buyers are used to. Instead of searching for and locking in the costs of modules and storage equipment long before they are needed, Anza customers can now see the value of any module or battery for a project in real time, right when they need it. Anza simplifies the procurement process, saves time and money, and allows buyers to recognize better project returns.”

This is a real innovation for future solar energy producers. Borrego’s application aims to significantly reduce delivery and shipping times and provide real-time insight. This allows the buyer to insure against unforeseen risks and to anticipate fluctuations in the sector.

Anza will also help to limit companies’ staffing costs since the application produces the necessary analytical data itself. It is intended for producers who want to start solar production.

The application has already passed a first test with success. This is the case of Renewables Properties, a small American solar farm producer. Borrego hopes to demonstrate its product at the RE+ event in September. The largest energy event in the U.S., it allows companies to showcase their technologies and innovations in the sector.
