Qn-SOLAR launches a 5MW solar project to support agriculture in Svishtov

Qn-SOLAR, in collaboration with CLS Solar Service Bulgaria, completes a 5MW solar project aimed at supplying the agricultural industry in Svishtov with renewable energy, marking a major step toward a sustainable future.

The Svishtov project, led by Qn-SOLAR in partnership with CLS Solar Service Bulgaria, represents a significant milestone in the region’s energy transition. This 5MW photovoltaic (PV) project, which began construction in June 2024, aims to supply renewable energy to the local agricultural industry and is expected to become operational by April 2025.

Svishtov, located in northern Bulgaria and known for its Danube port, is at the heart of this initiative that combines technological innovation and sustainable development. The project secured strong financing from Postbank Bulgaria, which supported its official launch in April 2024. Close collaboration between Qn-SOLAR and CLS Solar Service Bulgaria ensured strict deadlines were met and efficient system implementation.

Exemplary collaboration for sustainable development

Spas Spasov, Technical Director of CLS Solar Service Bulgaria, praised Qn-SOLAR’s performance, calling their partnership a model of efficiency. “Their professionalism allowed us to overcome potential challenges and ensure a smooth installation,” he stated. This collaboration highlights Qn-SOLAR’s commitment to high technical standards and flawless execution.

The project aims to transform energy access for local farmers, reducing energy costs while contributing to the transition to green energy sources. The ground-mounted solar panels used for this project are designed to maximize efficiency and sustainability, in line with the region’s environmental goals.

A global strategy focused on innovation

Beyond Bulgaria, Qn-SOLAR pursues a global strategy focused on energy innovation. The company invests heavily in cutting-edge solar technologies, including perovskite solar cells, and is actively exploring hydrogen energy solutions. These innovations aim to accelerate the transition to more efficient and accessible renewable energy sources.

Stephen Cai, Chairman of Qn-SOLAR, emphasized the social and economic impact of the energy projects led by the company: “By collaborating with local teams, we are not only creating jobs but actively participating in building a sustainable energy future.”
