Together they seek to develop next-generation hydrogen compression.

Baker Hughes invests in projects in Canada and Saudi Arabia

Air Products will benefit from Baker Hughes’ advanced hydrogen compression and gas turbine technology.
NovaLT16 turbines will be deployed in Edmonton, Canada, in a carbon-neutral hydrogen energy complex.
Compression technology will be used in Saudi Arabia in the NEOM green hydrogen project.

Reducing the cost of hydrogen

Baker Hughes and Air Products will be collaborating on a number of hydrogen projects worldwide.
This work will enable them to develop next-generation hydrogen compression.
A process designed to reduce production costs and accelerate the adoption of hydrogen as a low-carbon fuel.

Accelerating the energy transition

This collaboration is essential to accelerate the global energy transition.
Indeed, this kind of technical innovation will encourage the large-scale deployment of hydrogen.
