Exergy International has signed an agreement with RentCo Africa Limited to develop a geothermal project in Olkaria, Kenya.
This project will add 67 MWe of capacity, using Flash and Organic Rankine Cycle (ORC) technologies.
Exergy will supply eight ORC plants, totalling 30 MWe.
This initiative aims to boost the region’s energy capacity and exploit available geothermal resources more efficiently.
