Vallourec has concluded an agreement with BP Berau Ltd. for the supply of premium tubes and VAM® connections in corrosion-resistant alloys (CRA), according to a statement from the tubular manufacturer. The contract covers the Tangguh project, described as the first offshore carbon capture and storage (CCS) initiative in Western Papua, Indonesia. The French group, listed on Euronext Paris under the ticker VK, sees the deal as an opportunity to expand its footprint in the tubular solutions market for industrial decarbonisation.
