Sonnedix has signed two strategic framework agreements for the supply of solar PV equipment. These agreements, signed with Astronergy and Sungrow, are aimed at securing key components to accelerate delivery of solar projects totaling 6GW.

Agreements with Astronergy and Sungrow

The first agreement with Astronergy concerns the supply of 750MWp of photovoltaic modules. Astronergy is a recognized manufacturer in 140 countries, providing reliable, high-quality production capacity. This partnership enables Sonnedix to guarantee the supply of essential modules for its projects. The second agreement signed with Sungrow covers 625MWac of inverters and MV stations. Sungrow is a leading global supplier of inverters and energy storage systems. This contract enables Sonnedix to secure critical equipment for its solar power plants.

Reduced lead times

These framework agreements aim to reduce procurement lead times, thus facilitating faster implementation of solar projects. Rapid supply of PV modules and inverters is crucial to meeting delivery deadlines and plant construction schedules. On the occasion of the signing at Intersolar Europe, Axel Thiemann, CEO of Sonnedix, said:

“The agreements signed today with Astronergy and Sungrow are essential to secure equipment needed for our 6GW development pipeline.”

Collaboration and Commitment

Samuel Zhang, CMO at Astronergy, expressed his satisfaction with the partnership, underlining the shared commitment to accelerating the realization of solar projects. Javier Izcue, Vice President of Sungrow Europe, added that this agreement reinforces their commitment to providing high-quality PV solutions on a global scale.
These agreements illustrate Sonnedix’s strategy of forging long-term partnerships with leading suppliers to ensure the efficient implementation of its solar projects.
