The French Parliament is set to seal EDF’s fate with a law designed to protect the company from dismemberment and widen access to regulated electricity tariffs, a move welcomed by a largely unified political spectrum.
The Cour des Comptes calls for increased investment in the French energy sector to tackle global warming, targeting nuclear power plants, dams and the distribution network.
