In Spain, Opdenergy obtains 100% positive environmental impact permits for all its solar projects under construction.

Multiple projects

In Spain, Opdenergy is developing a set of solar projects totaling 1146MW. 902MW are projects under construction and 244MW of projects are in the pre-construction phase.

These projects will be implemented in Spain in the provinces of Zamora, Ciudad Real, Zaragoza, Cuenca, Teruel and Badajoz. Thus, Opdenergy intends to build facilities throughout the Spanish territory. The company plans, among other things, six projects in the region of Cuenca, five projects in Zamora and 8 projects in Zaragoza.

A European player

The company’s objective is to develop strategically located projects. In addition, the company strives for maximum energy efficiency and environmental friendliness. In addition, Opdenergy’s projects also seek out the local economies in which they are located.

Opdenergy aims to be one of the most relevant players in Europe in the framework of energy transition and independence. Spain plans to install 70GW of new renewable energy plants by 2030. In addition to this ambition, there are the additional targets set in the “Fit for 55” framework.
