EBRD and EU Grant €75M to Ukrhydroenergo to Strengthen Ukrainian Hydropower

The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is providing financing to Ukrhydroenergo (UHE), Ukraine’s state-owned hydropower company. This senior loan reaches up to €75 million, according to the financial institution. The package also includes up to €20 million in investment grants from international donors. The total project cost amounts to €120 million, including UHE’s own funds.
