NovaSource Power Services, a global provider of solar operations and maintenance (O&M) services, has been appointed by Equis for the long-term management of the Melbourne Renewable Energy Hub. This project, developed jointly with the public entity State Electricity Commission of Victoria (SEC), is scheduled to come online before the end of the year and will feature a capacity of 600 megawatts and 1.6 gigawatt hours of storage.

The Melbourne Renewable Energy Hub occupies a central position within Victoria’s main electricity transmission corridors. It will support three major Renewable Energy Zones: Murray River, Western Victoria, and South Victoria.
