TSG Group, a provider of technical services for mobility infrastructure, has made two new acquisitions in the first quarter of 2025, bringing the total number of operations carried out since the beginning of the year to five. By incorporating Leirivolt Lda in Portugal and Kronenburg Techniek B.V. in the Netherlands, the company strengthens its position in the photovoltaic, electrical engineering, and intelligent energy solutions sectors. These acquisitions form part of a continuous expansion strategy that has seen TSG complete 36 takeovers in 16 countries over the past three years.

Strengthening technical capabilities in Southern and Northern Europe

Leirivolt Lda, based in Leiria, has operated for 20 years in photovoltaic installations, industrial electrical engineering, and electric vehicle charging solutions. It primarily serves a B2B clientele in the industrial and tertiary sectors. The company was recognised as a SME Leader 2022 and SME Excellence 2021 by the Instituto de Apoio às Pequenas e Médias Empresas e à Inovação (IAPMEI). Kronenburg Techniek, located in Houten, specialises in the installation and maintenance of electrical systems and fire safety technologies, with a strong presence in Belgium and the Netherlands.

An integrated offer for mobility and industrial infrastructures

Through these integrations, TSG strengthens its ability to offer comprehensive solutions covering all energy needs of industrial, commercial, and mobility sites. The group states it has installed 55,000 electric charging points across Europe, supported by a network of 1,200 electricity experts. Simultaneously, TSG has deployed over 400 MW of solar capacity in just over a year, reinforcing its growth in the photovoltaic sector.

Operational optimisation and increased regional footprint

The acquisition of these two companies also enables TSG to intensify its regional presence in Portugal, the Netherlands, and Belgium, while maximising operational synergies through the integration of digital tools for smart energy management. The group reports that it structures its offering around an EPC (Engineering, Procurement and Construction) model, combining solar energy, charging, storage, and thermal solutions.

Jean-Marc Bianchi, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of TSG, stated: “Leirivolt and Kronenburg Techniek bring valuable expertise and a strong presence in their respective markets, perfectly aligned with our ambitions.”
