Public Power Corporation S.A. (PPC) strengthens its presence in Europe with the purchase of the Brazi power plant in Romania, a major step forward in its expansion strategy.

At no time did PPC finalize or even initiate an acquisition of the Brazi power plant.

The real transaction underway for PPC in Romania concerns the acquisition of a 629 MW portfolio of renewable energy assets owned by Evryo Group.
This portfolio includes wind, hydroelectric and solar projects, reinforcing PPC’s strategy in the green energy sector in South-East Europe.
