Business Development Manager (M/F)
Lubricants in partnership with the world leader in lubricant sales.
Preferably in the North East region / Preferably in the Rhone Alpes region / remote with travel to customer sites)
Your mission
As a field sales professional, you’ll be responsible for prospecting, developing and maintaining your customer portfolio. This is a key role in which you build customer loyalty among SMEs and SMIs, and help them with their lubricant purchases.
The sales team covers the departments 01, 07, 25, 26, 38, 39, 54, 55, 57, 67, 68, 73 and 74.
The successful candidate will advise and maintain customer satisfaction. It maintains close relations with the sales and logistics teams, and provides reports in line with the performance indicators produced by the company’s finance department.
The Business Development Manager actively participates in the company’s HSSE policy and contributes to inventory management in third-party warehouses.
You’ll need to be creative, as you’ll be working in a variety of sectors (agriculture, automotive, mechanics, transport, construction, industry, etc.).
Main responsibilities
Identify and develop relationships and business development opportunities. You are in close contact with the logistics and lubricant sales teams and provide reports in line with the KPIs (performance indicators) indicated by the finance department. Participate in warehouse inventory management as instructed by the Lubricants team. Development of annual plans to acquire and develop key accounts. Development of commercial solutions for customers. Monitor and report results in terms of volume and sales. Research trends and marketing developments in the market to develop business. Collaborate with suppliers and technical departments on product specifications and uses to ensure that customers receive the best products for their needs.
Profile sought
Previous B2B field sales experience is essential, ideally in a similar field and region.
