GeoPura has completed the acquisition of strategic assets and the hiring of qualified personnel from Green Hydrogen Systems (GHS), thereby strengthening its expertise in the hydrogen sector and preparing for expansion into the European market. The transaction includes the takeover of all spare parts, tools, and equipment related to the A-Series electrolyser platform.
Asset transfer and technical expertise
Former GHS employees, specialists in the design, support, and operation of A-Series electrolysers, have joined the GeoPura team. Their expertise will ensure continuity of operations, maintenance, and improvement of the existing equipment fleet. GeoPura has used electrolysers developed by GHS for several years, a collaboration that preceded this integration of assets and know-how.
Creation of a European entity
To support this transition and facilitate future growth, GeoPura has established its first international presence: GeoPura (Europe) ApS, based in Denmark. This facility will serve as an operational hub for technical support and optimisation of the A-Series electrolysers, while enabling the deployment of the company’s hydrogen production units across Europe.
Positioning in the European market
GeoPura’s hydrogen production units are already in use in various sectors, including construction, media, events, and infrastructure. The new Danish base is expected to support the company’s response to rising demand for direct-emission-free energy production solutions across the continent. Andrew Cunningham, Chief Executive Officer of GeoPura, stated that this move represents “a strengthening of technical capabilities” and “a lever for entry into new markets.”
