Chinese company Astronergy, in collaboration with Polish company Solartech, has shipped high-efficiency PV modules to support two solar farm projects in Augstynka and Jeziorko in Poland. These projects have a combined capacity of 125MW. They make a significant contribution to the development of renewable energies in the region, as part of a drive to improve the local environment.

Environmental impact and energy production

The Augstynka and Jeziorko solar farms are scheduled to produce 12.76 million kWh of clean electricity annually. This production will help reduce carbon dioxide emissions by around 102,718 tonnes each year, aligning these projects with sustainable development objectives and efforts to reduce pollutant emissions.

Alignment with Poland’s energy objectives

By increasing its focus on the development of renewable energies, Poland aims to reduce its dependence on fossil fuels and move towards a more sustainable energy mix. The Augstynka and Jeziorko solar farm projects are thus in line with Poland’s renewable energy objectives.

Strategic collaboration for innovation

Bartek Zysiński, CEO of Solartech, expressed his enthusiasm for the collaboration with Astronergy, highlighting the contribution of innovative and up-to-date solutions for large-scale PV farm projects. This strategic alliance between Solartech and Astronergy represents a model of international cooperation in the field of renewable energies, highlighting the synergy between project development, technical expertise and commitment to environmental sustainability.

The Augstynka and Jeziorko projects represent a major step forward in Poland’s solar energy sector, making a significant contribution to reducing greenhouse gas emissions. By providing a clean, renewable energy source, Astronergy and Solartech are playing a crucial role in Poland’s energy transition, offering a viable alternative to traditional fossil fuels and supporting global sustainable development goals.
