Albioma diversifies its biomass supply sources

This operation enables the Albioma Group to diversify its sources of supply of sustainable biomass.
Located in Canada, the site will supply the independent renewable energy producer’s power plants in the West Indies.
The financial transaction also includes a long-term contract for access to 45,000 tonnes of port storage capacity.
In addition, Quebec’s Ministère des Forêts, de la Faune et des Parcs is providing raw material supply guarantees.
Shut down since July 2021, the plant will be back up and running in early 2022.
Following further investment, it will have a nominal production capacity of 200,000 tonnes.
