Boosting wind power development in France
Windvision has acquired the Mont de Quatre Faux project, 40 km north of Reims, and the Petit Pressigny project in southern Touraine.
The former is being developed in collaboration with EDF Renouvelables.
It will cover 5,000 hectares, or 7 communes.
The aim is to make it the largest wind farm in France.
The project will have a total capacity of 226 MW and should supply over 250,000 inhabitants.
The second project involves the installation of 8 wind turbines with a combined capacity of 36 MW.
Together, they could supply around 35,000 households with renewable electricity.
