The Technique Solaire group, an independent producer of renewable energies, is stepping up its presence in Europe with the acquisition of “ready-to-build” projects in the Netherlands and Spain. These new projects add 58 MWp to the group’s pipeline, corresponding to the consumption of 60,800 inhabitants and avoiding 13,500 tonnes of CO2 per year.

Netherlands: Acquisition and commissioning of new power plants

Technique Solaire has acquired two new “ready-to-build” photovoltaic projects in the province of Gelderland, in Beuninguen and Druten, totalling 26 MWp. Once operational, these wind farms will generate 26 GWh of electricity per year, covering the energy consumption of 20,000 inhabitants. At the same time, the Group’s first floating solar power plant, at BillyBird Park Drakenrijk, was commissioned. With a capacity of 7 MWp, it will generate 6.4 GWh per year, equivalent to the electricity consumption of 5,000 people. Technique Solaire, which has been present in the Netherlands since 2018, is aiming to reach a capacity of 100 MWp by 2030.

Spain: Expansion with new projects and a stronger team

Technique Solaire has finalized the acquisition of eight “ready-to-build” photovoltaic projects in Aragon, totaling 32 MWp. Commissioning of these plants is scheduled for early 2025. Spain, with its excellent solar irradiation, represents a key market for Technique Solaire, which has been present there since 2022. To support this growth, Ignacio Rebollo has been appointed Country Manager. With over 20 years’ experience, he will be responsible for project development and expansion in Spain. These new plants will generate 63 GWh per year, covering the consumption of 40,800 inhabitants. Technique Solaire, which operates over 500 MWp of photovoltaic power plants in France, India and the Netherlands, is aiming for 600 MWp of operating capacity in Spain by 2030.
