OX2 has signed an asset management agreement with Greencoat Renewables PLC for the Ersträsk South wind farm in Sweden. The agreement includes the technical, commercial and financial management of the wind farm as well as support for the future acquisition of another asset.

The management of the Ersträsk South wind farm in Sweden has been signed in an asset management agreement between OX2, therenewable energy project developer, and Greencoat Renewables PLC. The long-term asset management agreement includes support for the future takeover of another asset.

Complete management of the Ersträsk South wind farm

OX2 will provide technical, commercial and financial management of the Ersträsk South wind farm to ensure optimum asset performance on behalf of Greencoat Renewables PLC. The wind farm has been operational since 2021 and consists of 36 Enercon turbines, producing 101 MW of electricity.

Support for the future acquisition of another asset

OX2 will also support Greencoat Renewables PLC in the future acquisition of another asset under construction. Once the wind farm is in operation, OX2 will also provide all asset management services.

A promising partnership

Lars Bryngelsson, Head of Technical and Commercial Management at OX2, said he was delighted to take over the management of the Ersträsk South wind farm and ensure efficient ownership and optimized profitability for Greencoat Renewables PLC in Sweden. Paul O’Donnell, Partner at Schroders Greencoat LLP, commented on their satisfaction in concluding this first agreement with OX2 for the management of their wind farm assets in Sweden.
