Palmdale Oil, Florida’s leading supplier of fuels, propane, lubricants and chemicals, announces the acquisition of Maassen Oil Company.
Founded in 1931 in Arcadia, Maassen specializes in the distribution of propane, off-highway colored diesel, on-highway clear diesel, gasoline and lubricating oils to a diverse clientele of commercial and residential customers.
This acquisition allows Palmdale to strategically expand its distribution footprint and operational capabilities throughout Florida.
By integrating Maassen, Palmdale aims to improve its transportation efficiency and maintain high service standards while reaching new customers in the Tampa and Fort Myers areas.

A Fusion of Values and Skills

Lachlan Cheatham, CEO of Palmdale, says: “Like Palmdale, Maassen is a family-run business with a strong emphasis on personalized customer service. This partnership will strengthen our efficiency and enable us to offer exceptional services to a wider range of customers.” For his part, David Maassen, co-owner of Maassen, points out that the union with Palmdale would enable customers to continue to receive high-quality products while benefiting from Palmdale’s expanded distribution network and operational expertise.

Impact on the regional energy market

Palmdale’s acquisition of Maassen Oil represents a significant move in the regional energy market, consolidating Palmdale’s presence and increasing its ability to meet the growing needs of the agricultural and industrial sectors.
This strengthening of distribution capabilities and management solutions underscores Palmdale’s commitment to providing high-quality services and maintaining strong relationships with its customers and partners.

Future prospects

By absorbing Maassen’s operations, Palmdale is favorably positioned to capitalize on growth opportunities throughout the state of Florida.
The focus on transportation efficiency and expanded service offerings will help solidify Palmdale’s position as a leader in the regional energy sector.
The integration of the two companies is also expected to generate significant synergies, enabling better allocation of resources and increased delivery capacity.
Maassen’s customers will benefit from Palmdale’s robust infrastructure, ensuring a smooth transition and uninterrupted service.
This acquisition marks an important step for Palmdale Oil in its long-term growth strategy and its ambition to dominate the Florida energy market.
