Siri and DecaL, two onshore wind farm projects of the De Vizia Group in Italy, will have Vestas wind turbines.

Two new parks Siri and DecaL

Siri and DecaL, will have four V136-4.5 MW and three V150-4.5 MW wind turbines. In addition, both wind farms will benefit from a 10-year Active Output Management 5000 (AOM 5000) service. Nicola De Vizia, of the De Vizia Group, states:

“We are delighted to continue working with Vestas. The two wind farms are part of a larger wind portfolio where we have successfully implemented various Vestas platforms with satisfaction for both Vestas and us.”

Francesco Amati, Managing Director of Vestas Italy and Turkey, says:

“I would like to thank gruppo De Vizia for extending the collaboration with Vestas. We are also proud to see how the versatility of the Vestas 4MW platform and its latest models allow our customers to maximize energy production in wind farms with different characteristics.”

The turbines will be delivered and commissioned in the second half of 2023. In addition to Siri and DecaL, Vestas installed 4.9GW of capacity in the Italian wind energy market.

A recognized experience

Italy has over 11.1GW of onshore wind capacity. The country aims to reach 18.4GW by 2030. In addition, this objective is in line with the National Energy and Climate Plan(NECP)

Vestas, installed over 160GW of wind turbines in 88 countries. The company uses data to interpret, forecast and exploit wind resources and provide the best wind energy solutions. The company relies on the expertise of approximately 29,000 employees worldwide.
