Scatec Wins 25-Year Solar Contract for 120 MW Plant in Tunisia

Scatec ASA, a Norwegian renewable energy specialist, has obtained a 25-year Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) with Société Tunisienne de l’Electricité et du Gaz (STEG), Tunisia’s state utility. The contract covers a 120 MW solar power plant located in Tataouine. This award results from a government tender launched to support Tunisia’s renewable energy targets and strengthen the country’s energy security.
