Safran Aircraft Engines and GreenYellow have inaugurated the photovoltaic plant at the Évry-Corbeil industrial site in Île-de-France. The facility comprises 21,000 solar panels distributed across 39 parking canopies covering 41,000 m², with a capacity of 8.6 megawatts-peak (MWc). Commissioned in October 2025, it generates 8.3 gigawatt-hours (GWh) annually of renewable electricity, entirely self-consumed on-site. This self-consumption photovoltaic project at Évry-Corbeil represents a milestone in the aerospace engine manufacturer's energy strategy.
