Renalfa IPP has finalized the acquisition of a 258 MWac solar project in Teleorman County, Romania. This investment, completed in late 2024, marks a significant step in the development of the Romanian energy sector.
With commercial operation scheduled for 2027, the project aims to contribute to grid stability and the country’s energy transition. A 1000 MWh energy storage unit will be integrated to optimize renewable energy use and enhance the resilience of the grid against production fluctuations.
