REDEN is investing in a new generation production line to maintain its leading position in photovoltaics. This independent producer of renewable energy, based in Agen since 2008, relies on the mastery of the entire value chain of development, construction, operation and maintenance. With this multi-million euro investment, REDEN consolidates its commitment to responsible economic growth in the country.
At the cutting edge of technology
The new photovoltaic module production line will allow REDEN to remain at the forefront of technology while offering greater development flexibility to its projects and partners. Since 2009, the REDEN plant has provided unprecedented flexibility in terms of manufacturing modules adapted to the deployment of power plants with numerous technical specifications. REDEN’s agrivoltaic greenhouses, adjusted to each crop and location, are the perfect illustration of this, not to mention the increased work comfort and productivity they provide.
Supply 300,000 modules per year
“In a market as dynamic as photovoltaics, our production line would have quickly become obsolete. We were therefore faced with two alternatives: to strengthen our expertise by investing in a new generation industrial tool, or to close the factory soon”, explains Thierry Carcel, President of REDEN. The choice was made to maintain jobs in the region and to consolidate the Group’s position in the sector.
REDEN pays particular attention to the origin of its purchases as part of its CSR policy. This is why the Group has selected a supplier in Spain, known for its reliability in the photovoltaic world. With its new acquisition, REDEN will be able to supply 300,000 modules per year.
