Opdenergy and Bruc Energy sign an agreement for the transfer of two photovoltaic plants located in Spain. These two projects are in addition to the 110MW executed in the first half of 2022, for a total capacity of 191MW.
Transfer of projects
Opdenergy is an independent producer of renewable energy. These projects are part of the transaction signed with Bruc Energy in August 2021. This transaction consisted in the sale of a portfolio of 20 projects in different regions of Spain with a total capacity of 101MW.
81MW come from this agreement and are added to the 110MW formalized in the first half of 2022. Thus, the total capacity transferred to date is 191 MW. Opdenergy will continue to formalize with Bruc Energy the sale of the projects included in this transaction in the coming months.
An international development
Opdenergy has been an independent producer of renewable energy in Europe, the United States and Latin America for over 15 years. The group has a portfolio of 1.6GW of assets in operation and under construction. Luis Cid, Opdenergy’s CEO, states:
“With this new transfer of assets as part of the Bruc transaction, we continue to execute our business plan as planned and achieve milestones towards our goals.”
The company plays an important role in the decarbonization of energy in the various countries in which it operates. The group operates in Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom, France, Poland and Chile. Finally, in July 2022, Opdenergy was listed on the Spanish stock exchange.
