Nordex Group confirmed a significant increase in its order book in the third quarter of 2025, reaching 2,170 megawatts (MW) in the Projects segment, excluding services. This volume represents a rise of approximately 26% compared to the 1,726 MW recorded during the same period in 2024. For the first nine months of the year, the wind turbine manufacturer accumulated 6,661 MW in orders, compared to 5,083 MW over the same period last year.
Price stability supports commercial momentum
The average sales price per megawatt (ASP) slightly increased to EUR0.93mn/MW ($0.98mn/MW) in the third quarter, compared to EUR0.92mn/MW ($0.97mn/MW) a year earlier. Over the first nine months of the fiscal year, the ASP stood at EUR0.92mn/MW ($0.97mn/MW), versus EUR0.90mn/MW ($0.95mn/MW) for the same period in 2024. According to the company, this modest increase was primarily driven by project scope and regional mix effects.
During the quarter, Nordex received orders for 362 wind turbines destined for projects in 16 countries. Most contracts originated from Europe, particularly Germany, and North America, primarily Canada. These markets continue to represent significant volumes for the Hamburg-based industrial group.
Growth trajectory sustained in 2025
After two strong first quarters, each exceeding 2 GW in orders, Nordex maintained its positive momentum through the first nine months. The accumulated total of 6.7 GW represents a year-on-year increase of more than 31%.
The company has not provided specific forecasts for the fourth quarter but states it remains confident in its ability to sustain this commercial performance through the end of the year. Management cited a generally stable pricing environment as a key factor for margin predictability amid supply chain cost pressures.
