Netherlands Establishes Record Electricity Production and Exports in 2025
According to Statistics Netherlands (CBS), the country generated 132 billion kWh of electricity in 2025, 10% higher than in 2024. Renewables accounted for 49% of the mix, while exports grew 25%.

This growth reflects a simultaneous increase in both renewable and fossil fuel generation.
