Meralco PowerGen Begins Delivering 85 MW Solar to Luzon Grid in Philippines
MTerra Solar, a joint venture between Meralco PowerGen and Terra Solar Philippines, has begun feeding the Luzon grid with its first 85 MW, sixteen months after construction launch.

Meralco PowerGen Corporation (MGen) has begun delivering electricity from its MTerra Solar project to the Luzon grid, marking the first power supply from this installation approximately sixteen months after construction launch. Commercial operation began on March 14 through its subsidiary Terra Solar Philippines Inc. The initial phase plans to supply up to 85 MW of intermediate-load power, designed to support daytime peak demand and initiate deliveries to Meralco, according to the company.
