Dii Desert Energy, an energy transition think tank active in the MENA (Middle East North Africa) region since 2009, unveiled its MENA Energy Outlook 2026 report at the World Future Energy Summit held during Abu Dhabi Sustainability Week. According to the document, the region has entered an exponential growth phase with nearly 15 GW of solar photovoltaic and wind capacity installed in 2025. This progression contrasts with the previous five years during which regional capacity grew from 14 GW in 2020 to 30 GW in 2024.
