MaxSolar and SEAC Group join forces in photovoltaics

MaxSolar and SEAC Group announce their partnership to strengthen their position in the German renewable energy market, adding more than 3.1 GW of PV projects to MaxSolar's portfolio. An important contribution for regions and companies.

MaxSolar announced the integration of over 3.1 GW of SEAC Group’s PV projects. This cooperation increases MaxSolar’s development volume by more than 6.5 GW and further expands the portfolio, especially in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania. This makes MaxSolar one of the largest developers of photovoltaic projects on the German market. In addition, a portion of the SEAC Group development team will join MaxSolar.

 

A win-win partnership for renewable and sustainable energy

With this partnership, MaxSolar and SEAC Group strengthen their position in the German renewable energy market. MaxSolar will be responsible for the execution of the entire process, from the identification of suitable sites to the complete development, operation and maintenance, thus contributing to closing the gap in the reliable, economical and sustainable energy supply in Germany. Customers will benefit from the ideal combination of product and service portfolios and the combined experience and expertise of both partners.

An important contribution for regions and companies

MaxSolar and SEAC Group have already worked together in the implementation of projects as general contractors for the construction and operation of large-scale photovoltaic projects throughout Germany, including one of the first subsidy-free solar projects in Germany, operated by SEAC Group. The cooperation strengthens the competitiveness of both companies and paves the way for continued growth. Their energy solutions will allow municipalities and businesses to choose a decentralized source of renewable energy and secure local supplies of electricity and heat. The cooperation strengthens the regional value chain and creates jobs in the regions concerned.

GreenYellow and Meaders Feeds Ltd finalise a second 1.8 MWp solar project under the Carbon Neutral Industrial Sector Scheme aimed at decarbonising the Mauritian industrial sector.
