Matrix Renewables is a global renewable energy platform supported by TPG Rise. The company announces that it is securing a 4.6 GW portfolio of utility-scale solar power projects. These projects are located in the central United States.

Matrix and SolarStone sign a partnership

Matrix therefore signs a broader development joint venture with SolarStone Partners. This transaction allows Matrix to significantly increase its portfolio of renewable energy projects in the United States. This gives him the opportunity to develop other projects through a new partnership with SolarStone Partners.

Matrix and SolarStone will jointly develop the 4.6 GW portfolio. Thus, they will exploit and create additional opportunities in different markets in the United States.

Cindy Tindell, managing director and U.S. country manager for Matrix Renewables, says:

“Matrix is very excited to partner with SolarStone to further develop this portfolio and looks forward to our continued collaboration on new opportunities across the country.”

Matrix Renewables continues to develop its presence in the US with a growing team and portfolio. The company is now positioned as a leading global renewable energy platform. A platform that operates in North America, Europe and Latin America.

Its current portfolio thus consists of 2.3 GW. This includes photovoltaic, wind and storage projects. These projects are then under construction or almost ready to be built. Note an additional 7.3 GW pipeline.

Matrix Renewables and SolarStone

Matrix Renewables’ current portfolio consists of 2.3 GW of solar PV projects. They are thus operational, under construction or soon to be ready. As well as a 7.3 GW pipeline of renewable energy projects under development in North America, Europe and Latin America.

SolarStone, meanwhile, was founded in 2014 by industry veterans Joe Devito and Kaya Tarhan. They each have over 30 years of experience in the energy sector and have developed thousands of MW of renewable energy projects currently in operation.

To date, SolarStone has developed and sold more than 30 community solar projects under construction or operation and continues to expand into utility-scale renewable energy projects.

This partnership allows both companies to expand in the field of renewable energy in the United States.
