Innergex completes its remaining 30.45% minority acquisition in its 16-asset wind power portfolio in France

Innergex now fully owns its assets in France for a total consideration of C$96.4 million. The Quebec-based renewable energy development company has acquired a 30.45% share of its 16 wind power assets in France. This news confirms the will of the Quebec company to impose itself and to settle permanently in the country.
Michel Letellier, President and Chief Executive Officer of Innergex states:
“Strengthening our presence in France has always been part of Innergex’s development strategy. We have a strong team in place and will now focus on optimizing these assets to create more value.”
This asset purchase will generate approximately €75.8 million in revenues. General operating and administrative expenses will reach €18.6 million during the same period.
Ambitious objectives
For 30 years, Innergex has been working to develop renewable energy. The company seeks to foster healthier communities and create shared prosperity. It operates hydroelectric facilities, wind farms, solar farms and energy storage facilities.
The Quebec-based company operates in Canada, the United States, France and Chile. The company manages a portfolio of 84 facilities with a total net capacity of 3582MW. It considers potential projects at various stages of development with a total gross installed capacity of 7495MW.
