HydrogenPro has increased its production capacity in Tianjin, China. This recent expansion, in line with the first-quarter presentation, increased capacity by 66%, from 300 MW to 500 MW. This demonstrates HydrogenPro’s commitment to meeting the world’s growing demand for electrolyzers and green hydrogen.

Meeting global demand with enhanced production capacity

The expansion of production capacity in Tianjin is therefore a major step forward for HydrogenPro. This also demonstrates its ability to supply high-quality products on a global scale. With this new unit in China and planned installations in the USA and Europe, HydrogenPro is better prepared to meet the growing demand for electrolyzers and green hydrogen worldwide. The strategic partnership with Andritz further strengthens its position.

“We are pleased to announce the successful expansion of our production capacity in China, illustrating our ability to supply world-class products. Our increased capacity, combined with future production facilities in the USA and Europe, as well as our collaboration with Andritz, will play a vital role in meeting the growing global demand for electrolyzers and green hydrogen,” says Tarjei Johansen, CEO of HydrogenPro.

Strengthening the green hydrogen infrastructure in the United States

HydrogenPro has won a major contract to supply 40 electrolyzers to the world’s largest green hydrogen hub in the United States. These advanced electrolyzers are currently being manufactured at the Tianjin site. This agreement plays a crucial role in the development of hydrogen infrastructure and accelerates the production and adoption of green hydrogen in the United States.

“We are proud to contribute to a more sustainable and environmentally friendly future. As our global footprint continues to expand, with significant achievements such as ownership of the world’s largest high-pressure alkaline electrolyzer, a contract with the world’s leading green hydrogen site and pioneering third-generation electrolyzer technology, we are confident in our trajectory,” adds Mr. Johansen.

Fostering sustainable growth and global scalability

HydrogenPro increases its production capacity in Tianjin, responding to growing demand and strengthening its global presence. The company is committed to maintaining its growth trajectory and ensuring timely deliveries of its cutting-edge solutions.

“Our focus is now on continued growth and development, with a strong emphasis on timely deliveries. Our next step is to test the improved efficiency of our electrolyzers, a step that could improve performance by 14%. This innovation will undoubtedly have a positive impact on the green hydrogen landscape,” says Johansen.
