GOLDBECK SOLAR Polska has obtained the Final Operational Notification (FON) for the type D energy generation module of the Zwartowo photovoltaic park, with a capacity of 204 megawatt-peak (MWp). The project is managed by the special purpose vehicle Stigma sp. z o.o., created specifically for the implementation of this facility. This decision represents one of the first authorisations issued by the national operator Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne S.A. for a solar installation of this scale.
Technical validation by grid authorities
The final authorisation follows several months of technical testing carried out in cooperation with engineers from Polskie Sieci Elektroenergetyczne (PSE), the state-owned company responsible for Poland’s electricity grid. These tests confirmed the park’s compliance with the standards outlined in the European regulation known as NC RfG (Network Code – Requirements for Generators). The notification, dated 30 September 2025, confirms that the installation can now operate within the transmission network at full capacity and in line with the highest technical standards.
Strengthening energy integration into the grid
The Zwartowo solar power plant is one of the largest operational photovoltaic projects in Poland. Its integration into the national grid marks progress in the industrial-scale adoption of renewable energy. The technical certification also reinforces GOLDBECK SOLAR Polska’s ability to deploy large-scale energy production systems.
Expansion prospects in Central Europe
The certification comes amid accelerated growth in solar capacity across the region. The Zwartowo project, located in the north of the country, reflects the company’s growing ambition in the Central and Eastern European market. It forms part of a broader strategy aimed at meeting rising electricity demand while ensuring the compatibility of new facilities with existing transmission infrastructure.
