The International Congress on Hydrogen Fuel Cell Vehicles and Exhibition 2023 (FCVC 2023) was held in Shanghai, China, from July 5 to 7, 2023. The event brought togetherhydrogen energy experts from over 20 countries and regions, including China, Canada, Korea, Japan, the Netherlands and Germany. In their speeches, the experts discussed the advances and challenges of hydrogen energy.

FTXT revolutionizes the hydrogen energy industry with cutting-edge products at international exhibition

The show was also marked by the participation of over 300 exhibitors and the attendance of almost 30,000 visitors from various parts of the global industry. Among the exhibitors, FTXT, a Chinese brand specializing in hydrogen energy, presented several innovative new products. These products included a 255 kW high-power fuel cell system, a 300 kW graphite plate stack, a 70 MPa Type IV hydrogen storage tank and a high-pressure hydrogen valve.

These products stand out for their performance and technical indicators, which exceed current international standards. In particular, FTXT unveils its second-generation membrane electrode assembly (MEA), which uses ultra-thin film materials and massively producible ordered MEA assembly technology. Significant advances have been made in key areas such as reducing the amount of platinum used, improving mass transfer and autohumidification at low current density. These advances enable us to achieve a platinum load of less than or equal to 0.3 mg/cm2 and a power density of over 1.8 W/cm2 at 0.6V. This performance surpasses the objectives of both the European Union’s GAIA program and China’s “14th Five-Year Plan”, reaching a level of international leadership.

A hydrogen bridge between China and Italy: FTXT forges alliances for a green energy future

At the same time, FTXT is strengthening its international collaborations by signing strategic cooperation agreements in the field of hydrogen energy with the Italian National Research Council (CNR) and local companies. The aim of these collaborations is to share the successful experience of hydrogen energy application in China with Italy and the European Union, in order to foster the rapid development of local green energy and hydrogen energy industries.

FTXT has 21 years’ experience in the application of hydrogen energy in the Chinese market. The company covers various application scenarios, including hydrogen fuel cell vehicles (passenger cars, heavy trucks, buses), hydrogen-powered ships, combined heat and power (CHP) and energy storage. FTXT is also expanding its presence on the international market.

China’s hydrogen energy industry is currently undergoing a phase of accelerated development, with many technological products surpassing international standards. Chinese brands specializing in hydrogen energy are making their mark on the world stage, helping to promote this green, sustainable energy source.
