The Green Industry Bill, which will be introduced in Parliament this summer, must be implemented at zero budgetary cost, said Mathieu Lefèvre, a Renaissance deputy and member of the National Assembly’s Finance Committee, during a presentation of the projects in this plan to reindustrialize and decarbonize France. To achieve this, various options are being considered, including the reallocation of existing or unused aid, the elimination of tax expenditures that are unfavorable to the environment, and the study of the reform of the research tax credit.
Proposals collected from the field
The work to gather proposals from the field is coordinated by Guillaume Kasbarian, Renaissance chairman of the Assembly’s Economic Affairs Committee. The various aids proposed should not cost the general budget or the community, he stressed, adding that the creation or increase of taxes was not the philosophy of this project.
A project aimed at reindustrialization and decarbonization
The aim of the Green Industry bill is to reindustrialize and decarbonize France by creating new jobs and stimulating green innovation. This reindustrialization plan should make France more attractive and innovative while supporting the ecological transition.
