Chinese energy solutions provider Fox ESS has announced a strategic alliance with Solar Juice, a major distributor of solar technologies in Australia, during the All Energy 2025 event. The agreement covers storage projects totalling up to 1GWh and includes technical, commercial, and logistical cooperation across the entire Australian territory.
Gradual deployment in key regional markets
The cooperation primarily targets states with strong growth in residential storage demand, including New South Wales, Victoria, and Queensland. Expansion into South Australia, Western Australia, and Tasmania is planned depending on project progress. The deal covers distribution, installation, and technical support for Fox ESS’s KH, H3 Smart, and H3 PRO inverter ranges, along with EQ, CQ, and AIO high-voltage battery series.
Strengthening commercial offerings and system integration
The two companies also plan to explore joint opportunities in commercial storage, electric vehicle charging, and smart energy management systems. These include Virtual Power Plant (VPP) solutions, aligned with the objectives of optimising the Australian power grid.
Rami Fedda, Co-founder of Solar Juice, highlighted that the alliance will help meet the growing demand for efficient and reliable storage technology by expanding the available product offering on the market.
Industrial scale-up prospects for residential storage
The signing comes at a time of accelerating domestic installations in Australia, supported by recent incentive policies. Fox ESS benefits from a flexible manufacturing base and a strong research and development division, while Solar Juice brings a proven and widespread distribution network.
According to Michael Zhu, Chief Executive Officer of Fox ESS, the agreement will rapidly increase the company’s product penetration in the Australian market through local logistics and enhanced after-sales services. The partnership aims to establish a durable and competitive presence in a sector considered strategic by both companies.
