In Finland, OX2 has handed over the wind farms Merkkikallio, Puutikankangas and Rustari, located in Vaasa and Mustasaari, Sievi and Kurikka, respectively, to the renewable energy investor Renewable Power Capital by OX2. These wind farms, which were built in agreement with Renewable Power Capital, comprise a total of 31 wind turbines with a total capacity of 170 MW.

Wind farms for green energy production in Finland

The three wind farms produce about 590 GWh per year, which corresponds to the annual electricity consumption of 118,000 homes. The energy production of these wind farms is a real commitment to the environment and renewable energy. Indeed, they allow to reduce greenhouse gas emissions. In addition, wind farms generate approximately one million euros of property tax per year for the municipalities.

A win-win agreement with OX2

In Finland, OX2 will be responsible for the technical and commercial management of the Merkkikallio, Puutikankangas and Rustari wind farms under an agreement with Renewable Power Capital. In other words, this collaboration between the two companies will allow for the implementation of a sustainable and responsible energy solution, in line with current environmental issues.

In conclusion, the handover of the Merkkikallio, Puutikankangas and Rustari wind farms to renewable energy investor Renewable Power Capital is a major step forward for green energy production in Finland. Finally, the joint efforts of OX2 and Renewable Power Capital to implement this sustainable energy solution is a win-win for the environment and local communities.
