Entech, a French company specialising in energy storage and intelligent management of renewable energy, has announced the signing of a major contract for the construction of battery energy storage systems. With a total capacity of 50 MW/100 MWh, this project represents a value of over €30m and is the largest contract the company has signed to date.

Deployment across multiple sites in France

The storage systems will be deployed at several sites across France and will be connected to the medium-voltage (HTA) electrical network. This network, which distributes electricity to small businesses, shops, and industries, is managed by Enedis. Entech Construction, the division dedicated to the design and installation of photovoltaic and storage solutions, will be responsible for the implementation of the project. The works are scheduled to run from March 2025 to November 2026.

Impact on electricity network management

The storage systems provided by Entech will optimise electricity management on the medium-voltage network by offering frequency regulation services. This system aims to stabilise voltage and improve the network’s flexibility, which is crucial for the integration of renewable energy. Through these installations, Entech’s client will also be able to enhance the value of its land by implementing dedicated storage infrastructure.

A growth driver for Entech

This contract is expected to generate at least €15m in revenue for Entech in 2025. It aligns with the company’s development strategy, which aims to reach €300m in revenue by 2029, with an EBITDA margin target of between 20 and 25%.
