Bultensee, a wind farm project of Energiekontor AG, was sold to Oekostrom AG.

Bultensee, an ambitious wind power project

The Bultensee project has been sold by Energiekontor to Oekostrom AG. This sale confirms the economic potential of the sector.

The project consists of a Nordex wind turbine with a production capacity of 3.6 MW and is being built in Bremen. The project is expected to produce over 7.5 GWh of electricity per year. In addition, the state can look forward to an economic transition.

The Bultensee project is expected to supply some 2,500 German households. Still under construction, it will be commissioned in the summer of 2023.

As an electricity producer and supplier, Oekostrom AG focuses exclusively on the use of renewable energy sources. The company has set itself the goal of actively contributing to the decarbonization of society. Energiekontor will take over the commercial and technical management of the wind power plant once it is commissioned.

Two experienced companies

Energiekontor AG has extensive experience in the field of renewable energy. Its main activities are the planning and construction of wind farms as well as the operational management of wind and solar farms in Germany and abroad. The Bultensee wind power plant reflects this experience.

The company operates wind and solar farms with a rated capacity of approximately 360 MW.

The Bultensee wind power plant is just one of the company’s many projects. Since its foundation, Energiekontor has built 132 wind farms and 13 solar farms. This represents a total capacity of well over 1 GW. This corresponds to an investment volume of approximately 1.8 billion euros.

Oekostrom AG is an electricity producer and supplier. The Bultensee wind power plant reflects the company’s commitment to ecological and sustainable energy supply.
