AVG invests 8 million euros in Alternus Energy Group to make the company one of the largest pan-European solar operators.
The initial objective is to develop renewable energy projects in the Nordic countries.

Alternus Energy collaborates with AVG for the Nordic countries

Alternus Energy, an independent energy producer, has acquired a new financial partner.
The new partner isAVG, a Luxembourg-based asset manager that helps Norwegian companies implement their sustainable strategies.
The investment amounts to around 80 million NOK, or around 8 million euros, and will initially focus on the Nordic countries.

Boosting Alternus Energy’s development

The ambition of this new partnership between Alternus Energy and AVG is not only to support, but also to increase the number of projects involving renewable energies, andsolar energy in particular.
Vincent Browne, CEO of Alternus Energy, said:

AVG also intends to provide Alternus with additional financing to support both its growth and its Norwegian subsidiary.
Alternus Energy intends to establish itself in the renewable energies market in the Nordic countries.
And this, by multiplying its solar parks for a greener, cleaner and more sustainable future.
