Ameresco and Hannah Solar develop green energies

Ameresco, a leading cleantech integrator specializing in energy efficiency and renewable energy, announced today that it has entered into a joint venture with Hannah Solar Government Services (HSGS), a service-disabled veteran-owned small business (SDVOSB) renewable energy company.
The joint venture is facilitated under SBA’s Protégé Mentor program, which helps eligible small businesses, known as protégés, gain exposure and government contracts through partnerships with more experienced companies, known as mentors.
By entering into a joint venture, HSGS will have the unique opportunity to grow as an energy supplier by learning from Ameresco’s team of experienced government contractors.

Technology for the Department of Veterans Affairs

Together, the two companies will cooperate to bring clean technology solutions to the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and other federal agencies.
The companies decided to enter into a mentor-protégé relationship following HSGS’ delivery as Ameresco’s key subcontractor over the past five years on projects supporting the VA, the U.S. Army and NASA.

“Our relationship with Ameresco has evolved into a collaborative partnership based on a shared passion for this industry and a desire to develop increasingly innovative solutions.”
“We are grateful to Ameresco for taking on this mentoring role dedicated to coaching our team as we continue to work together,” says Col. R. David McNeil.
