Uzbek solar power: Antaisolar, the leading supplier of the entire industrial chain for photovoltaic mounting systems, has announced that it has signed a 470 MWp solar tracking system supply contract with Enter Engineering, Central Asia’s leading EPC contractor.

Antaisolar and Enter Engineering join forces for a 470 MWp solar tracker project in Uzbekistan, contributing to the expansion of solar energy

Gabriel William Wong and Arabin Lama from Antaisolar, along with representatives from Enter Engineering, signed the contract. The project will be completed by December 2023.

Antaisolar announces the signing of a 470 MWp solar tracker contract in Uzbekistan with Enter Engineering. Once finished, it will produce 600M kWh/year of clean electricity, reducing annual CO2 emissions by 600K tonnes, and reinforcing sustainability.

This can effectively promote the development and construction of local renewable energies, contributing to the transformation and upgrading of the local energy structure. The project uses Antaisolar’s independent 1P single-axis tracking system with rotary drive. Called TAI-Simple, it can increase energy production by 18.5% to 24%.

TAI-Simple has passed CPP laboratory tests. Its design scrupulously respects wind tunnel data, ensuring operational stability in extreme wind and snow conditions.

It can also adapt perfectly to large bifacial modules and track wide angles, further improving power generation efficiency and reducing operating costs. Uzbekistan has sufficient solar resources, which is ideal for the development of solar energy.

In recent years, in response to global climate change and national economic development, Uzbekistan has been vigorously developing the new energy industry and plans to increase the share of renewable energy production to 25% by 2026.
