Linxon signs new agreement with Available Power

Linxon and Available Power have signed an exclusive agreement for the 100 MW/200 MWh Greenport Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Austin, Texas. This agreement strengthens their strategic partnership to accelerate the energy transition in the Texas ERCOT market.

Linxon has signed an exclusive agreement with Available Power for the 100 MW/200 MWh Greenport Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project in Austin, Texas. This agreement strengthens the relationship between the two parties, following their strategic partnership for 1 GW of distributed energy storage projects in the ERCOT market.

Two companies hand in hand

Greenport project operational in early 2025

The scope of the project includes the design, construction, installation, and testing of all equipment required for the BESS facility, including a 345/34.5 kV, 130 MVA step-up power transformer, 345 kV AIS equipment, battery enclosures, inverter with coupling transformer, inverter/EMS control system, and station auxiliary power system. The Greenport project is expected to be completed by the first quarter of 2025. Available Power and Linxon will continue their journey of accelerating the energy transition and promoting sustainability in the Texas ERCOT market.
